“Off The Grid” PARASOL EXEL COMPOSITES

Lightweight solar charged Parasol uses 48 polycrystalline PERC cells to provide 220 V for work and leisure purposes. The base houses 2 x 40Ah 12V batteries, charge controller and a power inverter.

Structural components: Carbon fiber laminates, Ultralight cross fiber pull-wound carbon fiber tubing, 0.7mm XENSATION® COVER thin sheet protective glass.

Developed together with Exel Composites, Solar cell engineering: Sunovation PRODUKTION GmbH.

Glass components: Schott Technical Glass Solutions GmbH. Power components: Megasol Energie AG.

Launched in April 2016 at Wallpaper* Handmade in Milan, Italy.
